[edit] Hello !

Just creating a first discussion topic... Let's introduce ourselves so that we know more about our own community !

I am Nicolas Raoul, an enthusiastic Wikipedia, DBpdia and Faviki user working as a software architect in France, mashing up in my spare time ;-)
My name is Vuk Milicic and I am a web developer and designer from Belgrade, Serbia. I am creator of Faviki :)
I'm Jorn Barger, AI enthusiast and longtime linkblogger. --RobotWisdom 08:28, 9 September 2008 (UTC)
Michael Shook, So far, I like it a lot. What about Change?
Don Forrester, web developer, musician and epic nerd. Nice to meet you all!

[edit] Some RDF fun ;-)

Are many of the Faviki users interested in the "Robotech Defense Force" ? It seems so !

Try searching for tag "RDF" in Faviki : you will get about 40 results.

I guess all of the bookmarkers actually meant Resource Description Framework and not RDF, which is not a concept but a disambiguation page that talks about Robotech and Reuters Data Feed among other exotic things ;-)

[edit] Faviki ?= Wikipedia + DMoz/ODP

It seems pretty inevitable to me that Faviki or something very like it will end up integrated into Wikipedia as a equivalent/successor to the Yahoo and DMoz directories, ranking every useful page on the Web and sorting them neatly.

Because I'm looking forward to this approach, I'm limiting my Faviki tags to just those articles/links/tags that work for this-- resources that might be useful classified where they fit best. (This is very different from my use of del.icio.us.) --RobotWisdom 14:01, 9 September 2008 (UTC)
